Jane Mullins
Jane has fifteen years’ experience in the areas of internal communications; change management and leadership development. Her recent projects with HarknessKennett include an interim role at Skandia UK where she managed an employee engagement programme to support a major synergy programme for Skandia UK, pan-european communications support for Skandia ELAM, employee consultation in preparation for the EC Directive on Consultation and Information for Marconi; and developing more structured team communications for Roche Diagnostics.
Prior to HarknessKennett, Jane has worked with a wide range of blue chip clients in both the private and public sectors. These include launching a new brand proposition for Schroders; leadership development for top 6,000 leaders for Barclays Bank and a Cultural audit for Cameron McKenna CMS. She also led a major programme of communication and behavioural change to support a multi-million pound IT and business process re-engineering investment programme for Compass UK. Other clients include GNER, Airbus, Bernard Hodes Group, Royal Mail, Supernova, Stagecoach, Motorola, Nokia Telecommunications, ICI, Woolwich, Quadriga, and TNT.
Previously, Jane was a founding member of internal communications consultancy, Banner McBride, WPP’s first start-up business. Prior to Banner McBride she was the Internal Communications Manager for Cable & Wireless Business Networks, an international division of Cable & Wireless plc ; responsible for the strategic development and implementation of internal communications. This included project-managing communication programmes to support global outsourcing for C&W blue chip customers. Other experience includes managing HR & communications to support business restructuring and redeployment/redundancy programmes, gained whilst in a similar role at Standard Chartered Bank. Jane also worked in external marketing communications, as Marketing Project Manager, Docklands Light Railway Limited.
Jane has a BA (Hons) in Politics from the University of Nottingham. She is also a certified practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming. |
