ITV ‘Brand 2010’ win the HarknessKennett Award for Internal Communications at the 2006 PR Week Awards Ceremony,
24 October 2006 - Grosvenor House Hotel, Park Lane, London
  Congratulations go to the ITV Internal Communications team whose internal branding work won them the HarknessKennett Award for Internal Communications at this year’s PR Week Awards. To redefine its brand, products and services for the digital age ITV made use of what it does best – television. ‘Stop the World, I want to get off’ was shown to managers to demonstrate the public’s view of ITV. A further programme was then used to define the new ITV brand as ‘TV to talk about’. The company also revamped its intranet and carried out a series of employee workshops. As a result of the programmes more than three quarters of the workforce felt ‘well’ or ‘very well’ informed about the brand and its values, while 87% said they were better able to find out what was going on across ITV.

Finalists included Home Retail Group – Homebase for ‘Re-locate’, Royal Navy ‘Two-Six’ and BUPA ‘The Big Picture’
