Margaret Wotherspoon – Senior Consultant

Margaret has over 15 years senior management and management consultancy experience working with a wide range of commercial and public sector organisations. She has been extensively involved in the review and measurement of internal communications, strategic planning assignments, project management and business analysis.

At HarknessKennett, Margaret has led a review of communications at BDO Stoy Hayward, managed internal consultation on a new intranet for M&S Money, and led a review of internal communications for children’s charity NCH. She has also been involved in change communications at PITO and reviewing internal communication channels at Abbey, BSkyB and Centrica. Margaret developed a communications approach to share the details of Performance Related Reward Schemes with senior managers in the Linde Group.

Prior to joining HarknessKennett, Margaret’s consultancy experience included working at a strategic level with the heads of SMEs providing products and services to, for example, the major multiples, the emergency services and the Hong Kong Government. Margaret has hands-on experience of both internal and external communications to support the release of new products, company re-structuring and the introduction of new operating practices. She has managed events, delivered workshops and training days and developed material for newsletters, websites and training manuals.

Margaret was previously a senior consultant with Price Waterhouse and prior to that was head of IT for a division of the Forte Group.

Margaret has an LL.B (Hons) from University College, London.
