HarknessKennett and South West Trains entered two submissions for this year’s CiB Communication Strategy Awards in the categories of Employee Engagement and Single Subject for the Right Time Railway project. Both entries won Class Winner Awards at the Gala Dinner on 9 November 2007 at The Sheraton Park Lane Hotel.

Congratulations go to the winning Stockport Metropolitan Borough Council Internal Communications team who achieved outstanding results and cost effectiveness from their internal communications campaign, promoting ways to reduce stress in the workplace. Key aims were to raise awareness of council run health initiatives and encourage healthier living outside the workplace cutting the numbers of days lost through sick-leave.
Finalists included Marks & Spencer for ‘Plan A’, Westminster City Council ‘Preparing for Inspection’ and Royal Navy (Ministry of Defence) and CTN Communications ‘Two-Six’.
