HK interim consultant secures top comms job at Hyve Group

We’ve worked with the talented Nikki Griffiths for 8 years, supporting her in her career by helping her find rewarding interim work and stretching opportunities.

When we first met Nikki back in 2013 she’d already made the ‘Top 30 under 30’ list – and it was clear she’d be one to watch! Since then we’ve placed her in roles at Gatwick Airport, William Hill and ITE Group, now Hyve Group.

Nikki’s creativity and hard work, together with her intuitive ability to relate to colleagues in roles from frontline to execs, makes her a standout comms pro. Contract extensions and positive feedback follow Nikki wherever she works, and we were delighted to hear that her latest role has led to her appointment as Group Communications and ESG Director on a permanent basis.

Nikki joined Hyve in September 2019, initially to deliver change comms for an acquisition. She subsequently got involved in the Group’s re-brand, office move, and two further acquisitions. The global events group was really hit by the pandemic, with business all but stopped in its tracks. But 2021 has seen the organisation begin to build back, and Nikki will certainly have plenty to deliver as the company moves towards full capacity working.

“I really enjoy working with the team at HarknessKennett. As a contractor it’s easy to feel isolated, but they make a real effort to support you and take time to think about roles that will challenge and develop you too. It’s great to have a safe space where you can ask their experienced team for advice, and I’m looking forward to changing seats and working with them as a client in future!”

NIKKI GRIFFITHS, GROUP COMMUNICATIONS AND ESG DIRECTOR, HYVE GROUP
